IF you have a higher viscosity than 300
cps.....
The more your viscosity exceeds this quick pick assumption of 300 cps, the less
accurate the top and bottom of the predicted flow rate rate will be. The closer
your desired flow rate is to 50% on the dial, the better.
EXAMPLE:
The pump you selected shows the following after you
press the calculate key....

But instead of the 300 cps this quick pick assumes, let's say you actually are
pumping a 600 cps solution.
Instead of getting 1.45 GPH on the low end, you may only get down to 2.5 GPH,
and instead of getting 14.5 GPH on the high end, you may only get up to 11 GPH
on the high end. But as long as your desired flow is close to the 7.25 GPH,
(which is the middle of the dial or 50%) you are safe.
In other words, instead of the 10-100 % flow shown, you may get 20% to 90% at
400 cps, and 30%-80% at 500 cps, etc.
IF you have a higher pressure than 30 PSI.....
This will have a minimal effect up to 100 PSI. (You can even have pressures up
to 300 PSI but flow rate should be checked with a chart.) As pressure gets over
60 PSI, it starts to drop off slightly from the predicted flow shown here.
Again, keep your desired flow rate close to 50% on the dial for best accuracy.
