(The Grundfos smart pump is also known as an E Pump because of it's ("E"lectronics),
so CRE  pumps = our regular CR + Electronics).
Simply select the appropriate sensor, and as demands change, the CRE automatically adjusts it's speed to maintain the desired variable.

What does the smart pump (E pump) replace?
Imagine driving your car by keeping the gas pedal to the floor and using your brakes to control your progress. As you approach other cars on the highway, hills, or turns- you simply press more or less on the brakes while keeping your gas pedal floored all the time. Crazy? That is exactly how many pump systems work without electronic control. Variables (such as those mentioned above like PH, temperature, and pressure) would be analogous to those hills and turns to a driver. The smart pump reacts accordingly by adjusting it's speed. This has significant effects on system wear, process reaction time, and energy costs.
